Colin Firth and Natalie Portman have triumphed in the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the Actors Guild awards in the U.S., winning the awards for Best Actor and Best Actress, for roles in "The Speech of the King" and "Black Swan", respectively.
Besides Colin Firth, all actors in the film by Tom Hooper were honored with "The Speech of the King receiving the statuette for best ensemble.
Melissa Leo and Christian Bale won the awards for Best Supporting Actor for his performances in the film "Last Round" by David O. Russel.
In the area of television, the cast of "Boardwalk Empire, " won for drama with Steve Buscemi also receiving the statuette for Best Actor, while "A Very Modern Family"won the prize in the category of comedy.
"30 Rock" and "Hot in Cleveland" gave awards to the best comedy actors Alec Baldwin and Betty White, while the drama series "The Good Wife" Julianna Margulies earned a statuette for Best Actress.
Al Pacino and Claire Danes won for Best Actor and Actress in a TV movie or miniseries for "You Do not Know Jack"and "Temple Grandin", respectively.
