Actor and book-lover Alec Baldwin came to BookHampton to do a reading from Mark Twain’s “Huckleberry Finn” for children, as well as adults, on Saturday.
They started lining up at 2:30 for a 4 p.m. reading, and when Baldwin saw the crowds he agreed to do a second reading to accommodate the overflow.
Baldwin told East Hampton Patch, “It’s always a pleasure to support the community and Charlene, Jeremy, and Chris (owner and managers) in our local independent bookstore”.
